Against Posner against Coase against theory
Article Abstract:
Richard Posner criticised Ronald Coase's methods and argued that he was opposed to theory. However, it is now argued that Posner's claims were flawed because, once consideration is given to the differences between being non-theoretical, anti-theoretical or pro-theoretical, it is clear that Coase is not anti-theoretical even though some of his work may indicate otherwise. His attitudes are pro-theoretical even though his research results may be non-theoretical.

Anti-Williamson: a Marxian critique of New Institutional Economics
Article Abstract:
The conception inherited from neoclassical economics that 'in the beginning there were markets' is criticized by focusing on Williamson's theory. Further, it is stated that Williamson's categories, his method and conceptions are in itself products of bourgeois ideology and Williamson himself is ultimately an institution of capitalism.
