Algeria's growing market for packaging equipment; imports still fall far short of market needs
Article Abstract:
The distribution of consumer goods in Algeria is often hampered by a lack of packaging materials, but the government has begun a program to promote the development of packaging technology which should result in increased demand for equipment. Imports of equipment have traditionally come from France, Italy and Germany, but there should be room for American companies to expand their 1.4% market share if a bilateral financing arrangement can be implemented.
