An alternative methodology for solving nonlinear forward-looking models
Article Abstract:
The solution of nonlinear forward-looking models have become more crucial in modelling intertemporal economic dynamics. However, the integration of forward expectations specifications requires complicated solution techniques. To address this problem, a new method for solving nonlinear forward-looking models was developed based on a relaxation algorithm developed by Jean-Pierre Laffargue and theoretically grounding on a general multivariate linear model. Tests of the model show that it is mathematically robust.

Dynamic Cournot-competitive harvesting of a common pool resource
Article Abstract:
An analysis of a variant of the classical harvesting game, where a number of competing agents simultaneously harvest a common-pool natural resource is carried out. The development in the number of active participants is outlined, and the stability criteria for a dynamic Cournot-competitive game are given.
