An axiomatic foundation for regret theory
Article Abstract:
A set of regret-theory-based axioms is developed and then generalized. The axioms extend previous work by removing a slight amount of transitivity from axioms developed by P.C. Fishburn. The generalized axioms predict that preferences are affected by the nature of the feasible set.
