Cheap talk in bargaining experiments: lying and threats in ultimatum games
Article Abstract:
According to most of the models of bargaining, costless and unverifiable lies of private information and threats of future actions are considered cheap talks and are believed not to effect the outcomes. The results of this experiment prove that, cheap talk does affect the short-term and long-term bargaining outcomes.

The boundaries of trust: own and others' actions in the US and China
Article Abstract:
The survey data from the United States of America and China is used to examine the impact of culture on trust and trustworthiness. The results indicated that the trust and trustworthiness decrease as social distance increases in both countries.
