Article Abstract:
The effects of terrorism in Israel are studied with a theoretical analysis of the macroeconomic consequences. The theory proposes that increase in terror reduces investment, income and consumption. The impact of terror on individuals and the government is shown as percentages on GDP, per capita durable consumption and wealth.

Article Abstract:
The comment analyzes the results of J. Tavare' s paper, namely that democracy in itself does not prevent terrorism but it helps to mitigate the recovery from terror attacks. It identifies new areas for research on other aspects of terrorism and extremist groups.
