Competitive versus efficient extraction of a common property resource: The groundwater case
Article Abstract:
The article shows that when social competition for the groundwater reserves, or the size of the storage capacity is increased, private exploitation of the aquifer becomes inefficient. And when the potential benefits of regulation are small, it is not advisable to regulate the resource.

Evolving market structure: An ACE model of price disperson and loyalty
Article Abstract:
The price and loyalty events in the Marseilles fish market are examined using the agent-based computational model. It is found that buyer loyalty brings reduced prices; buyers gravitate to quality product; and sellers reduce prices for loyal buyers.
