Complicated dynamics in a flow model of the labor market
Article Abstract:
A worker flow model, developed with a nonlinear and endogenous outflow rate from unemployment, generates a range of adjustment paths. Simulations show that the nonlinear outflow rate causes asymmetric adjustment of unemployment to the equilibrium rate of unemployment.

Cooperation and wealth
Article Abstract:
The equilibrium fraction of cooperators in a population in which payoffs accrue from playing a single-shot prisoner's dilemma game is calculated. The results show that the equilibrium fraction of cooperators relates negatively to the population's level of wealth.
