Corporate growth, corporate strategy, and the choice of capital structure
Article Abstract:
The relationship between corporate strategy and corporate financial policies is analyzed. This relationship is analyzed under conditions of pressure on factor costs and product prices. Corporate management seeks to establish a balance between internal resources and external forces to reach specific goals. The firms contends with economic, technological and socio-political factors over which it has limited control. Thus, this limited control must be considered by firms in the process of corporate planning.

Understanding the implications of empirical work on corporate growth rates

A study on the empirical literature on corporate growth rates, which suggest that corporate growth rates are very nearly random and its consistency with standard theories of the firm are examined.
