Dispelling ignorance
Article Abstract:
Novartis Seeds CEO and Pres Ed Shonsey believes that ignorance on the part of the players in the industry, the producers, the media, the government and the scientific community is responsible for creating the current state of pessimism on the issue of genetically modified organisms and in biotechnology in general. Shonsey believes that it is up to the companies and the people behind them to continue to communicate their message in the hope of countering this ignorance.
