This paper presents a model of technological progress, focusing on the relationship between long-run economic growth and the private sector's investment in research and development. Topics addressed include government subsidies in research and development, as well as how the quality of human capital impacts the growth rate of the model economy.

Inflation and capital accumulation in a two-sector cash-in-advance economy
Article Abstract:
Research presented concerns the relationship between inflation and capital accumulation, using a two-sector model (consumption-investment) whereby money is brought in through a cash-in-advance constraint. Findings suggest that increases or decreases in capital formation are linked to inflation.
