Foreign exchange rates and Japanese foreign direct investment in Asia
Article Abstract:
Research is presented concerning the influence which a strong yen against Asian currencies and the dollar has on the level of foreign direct investment in Asia by Japan. Import tariff rates and labor productivity differentials are discussed.
