Turkish, Armenian businessmen sign protocol of cooperation
Article Abstract:
The trade link between Turkey and Armenia was reestablished when a protocol of cooperation was signed by the two countries' business representatives on August 4, 1997 in Yerevan, Armenia. The protocol of cooperation is directed towards increasing free trade between the two nations and putting to a halt the embargo imposed by Turkey to Armenia. Some of the sectors expected to be developed by the two countries include textile and leather, banking and stock exchange.
