From the great depression to the great inflation: path dependence and monetary policy

The monetary policy reaction functions of central bank in United States and other 12 countries are studied to examine the relationship between the Great Depression in 1970's, and the response of same central bank to reduce gaps and inflation during the Great Inflation.
