Fruit juices, squashes and flavoured milk drinks
Article Abstract:
The market for fruit juices, squashes and flavoured milk drinks in Europe is poised for growth. Important selling factors are flavour and whether products fit easily into a lunch box. Advertising also influences almost 25% of children aged between 7-14. These drinks are drunk by over 99% of children and all those questioned said they were allowed to choose which ones they wanted. The numbers of children under 14 is predicted to decline between 1997-2000, so the squash market will need to introduce new products to attract more consumers. Sales of flavoured milks are likely to increase.
