Human-capital investments and productivity
Article Abstract:
The effects of human capital investments, such as on-the-job training and education, on productivity are examined by creating a model using data from the National Center on the Educational Quality of the Workforce National Employers' Survey. Results show a relationship between employee training, recruitment strategies and labor turnover to productivity. On the other hand, the roles of total quality management and benchmarking were found to be insignificant.

The methodology used were the ordinary least squares and the Cobb-Douglas case which both used a dummy variable.
