Informal economy, wage goods and accumulation under structural adjustment theoretical reflections based on the Tanzanian experience

An increase in the development of unregulated labour-intensive activities occurred when sub-Saharan Africa was under structural adjustment. A study proposes that the dynamics of informal sector development were influenced by two distinct factors.

Movements of relative agricultural prices in sub-Saharan Africa
Article Abstract:
A study is conducted of 20 countries of sub-Saharan Africa in relation to their relative agricultural prices between 1973 and 1994/1995. Among the analyses conducted are those comparing terms of trade against international trade movements.
