Macroeconomics and discrimination in teaching
Article Abstract:
Biases exist in the teaching of macroeconomics and ultimately affect policy-making and public welfare. Thus, economists and educators have sought to remove race, ethnicity and gender (REG) biases in teaching to generate more accurate economics education and for policy development and performance. REG biases can be eliminated by disaggregating populations according to demographic aspects to enable observation and explanation of differences in economic concepts. Descriptive statistics, control groups and time-series analysis can be used for REG removal.

The macroeconomics of Dr. Strangelove
Article Abstract:
A model that focuses on intergenerational linkages is used to illustrate two adversarial nations' decisions regarding weapons accumulation. The overlapping-generations model has a demographic structure that allows the between-country intergenerational externalities, as well as the within-country intergenerational externalities, resulting from previous decisions about weapons to be analyzed. The model suggests that previous decisions still affect the post-Cold War environment.

International and intergenerational environmental externalities
Article Abstract:
The ecosystem has been divided into sovereign states but not all resources are controlled by a single nation, since some are jointly held by the global community. International institutions and agreements control these resources while some may have free access that are governed by no one. Environmental externalities, that may cover both time and national borders, may result from either production or consumption that can enter either preferences or technologies.
