Management of state unitary enterprises
Article Abstract:
A report on the present, awkward multi level, multi-agent system for managing state property and unitary enterprises and its many problems are presented. The requirement for an in-depth scientific analysis, careful regulatory and organizational preparation is suggested for the implementation of the stated proposals through a radical reconstruction of the whole system of managing state property, unitary enterprises and joint stock companies in which the state owns shares.

A Consistent Approach to Cost Efficiency Measurement
Article Abstract:
The article links allocative inefficiency to allocative distortions and input prices within input share equations used to comprise cost efficiency measurements. This method is applied to both private and state-owned firms; differences are discussed.

Efficiency, technical progress, and best practices in chinese state enterprises (1980-1994)

Regression analyses indicate that large state-owned enterprises were more likely to generate productivity growth than smaller ones. Education had a significant effect on technical efficiency.
