Monetary cohabitation in Europe
Article Abstract:
The impending adoption of a single currency, the Euro, by the European Union may pose problems for member economies who may choose to adopt or not to adopt said currency. One problem refers to the issue of 'monetary cohabitation' or the coordination of monetary policies by various states. This can be resolved by using a linear-quadratic model similar to that of Matthew Canzoreni and Dale Henderson (1988). This model uses coordination and credibility issues in developing policy recommendations.

Constitutions and economic policy
Article Abstract:
A study of the electoral rules and forms of government of a nation on economic policy making and performance is discussed. The overall consequences of constitutional reforms suggest that electoral reforms and changes to the form of government often entail a tradeoff between accountability and representation and that these tradeoffs extend to economic policy outcomes.
