Monetary policy, delegation and polarisation

Article Abstract:

A research on the relation between delegation of stabilization policy and political polarization was conducted using a simple version of Barro-Gordon's model employed with stochastic shocks to employment. Results show that stabilization policy and the choice of central banker are influenced by political polarization. If political polarization is small, the stabilization policy and the central banker will be opted by voters but if its high, stabilization policy will reflect only the interest of the winning party.

Men without children

Article Abstract:

The conduct of life men without children was assessed in relation to society. Unattached men tend to engage more in crime and substance abuse than their attached counterparts. They are also more prone to accidents and are likely to become victims of crime. Unlike married men, men without children are less attached to the labor force. It was also established that the increase in social pathology can be greatly attributed to social changes, such as the rise in the number of childless men.
