On the complexities of complex economic dynamics
Article Abstract:
The claimed new science of complexity has been applied to a number of disciplines, including economics. Complexity is a multidisciplinary concept with its source in mathematics and physics, but the additional complications arising in economics as a result of the problem of interacting human calculations in decision-making produce a layer of complexity that may not be present in other disciplines. It seems that the most obvious implication of the study of complexity is that a general assumption of rational expectations will almost certainly not hold.

Reply to Cockshott and Cottrell
Article Abstract:
The critical view by W. Paul Cockshott and Allin Cottrell's critique on Andre Kliman's study is examined and refuted. It may be recalled that Kliman's research cast doubts over the previous studies showing strong correlation between market prices and labour charges and Cockshott and Cottrell had presented a critique on it. The effects of deflation of sectoral prices and values on the correlation are also examined.

Aspects of dialectics and non-linear dynamics
Article Abstract:
Non-linear dynamics presents a way in which a mathematical analogue to some elements of the dialectical approach can be modelled. This research has assessed three principles of dialectical analysis in terms of non-linear dynamics models.
