On the evolution of the world income distribution
Article Abstract:
An analysis of the current world income distribution provides an optimistic forecast of the economic future of most countries. Calculations are made by using GDP per worker as the parameter of economic status and basing projections on present investment levels while assuming steady average growth rate for each country. Poorer countries manifested a relatively faster economic growth compared to their richer counterparts since the 1960s. Hence, the projected future world income distribution may be characterized by a remarkable clustering of countries at the upper part of a distribution graph.

Changes in earnings inequality: the role of demand shifts
Article Abstract:
The relative increase in the demand of high-skilled workers during the 1980s has triggered an increase in earning inequality. In view of this, the role of the demand shift in the occurrence of such change was analyzed. Possible factors on the demand side were identified, but equally considered as vital were the supply factors. The impact of technological change with respect to average real wage was recognized.

Income inequality and trade: how to think, what to conclude
Article Abstract:
Trade is a part of the cause for rising inequality and declining median wages. There has been a simultaneous rise in national openness to the world economy with inequality. Increase in trade and investment has been coupled with changes in technology, demographics, regulation and other areas. The relationship between trade, technology and wage inequality is discussed using an equilibrium model.
