Price movements, November 1992
Article Abstract:
Both consumer price indexes (CPIs) rose 0.1% in Nov 1992. The CPI for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) went to 142.0 without seasonal adjustment, an increase of 3.0% for the last 12 months. The CPI for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers (CPI-W) went to 139.8 without seasonal adjustment, an increase of 2.9% since Nov 1991. These figures represent less of an increase in consumer prices than the previous month, largely fueled by a slowdown in the increase of housing prices.
