Rational-choice hermeneutics
Article Abstract:
Rational-choice theory and hermeneutics are the likely competing methods in economics and other social sciences. The Austrian economics literature of the early 20th century is examined while suggesting combination of rational-choice theory and hermeneutics in order to eliminate the conflict between these two methods. The "neo-Schutzian" framework is described for modern rational-choice hermeneutics to understand the theories of human action to incentives.
