Saints and CEOs: an historical experience of altruism, self-interest and compromise
Article Abstract:
To put light on the ethical practices relevant to contemporary businesses, the experience of three fourth-century saints are drawn upon. An examination of the way these people dealt with the problems in developing charitable and social enterprises is presented, which is helpful for the CEOs.
