Structure, organizational behavior, and technical efficiency: the case of an Indian industry
Article Abstract:
Variation in structural conditions exists in Indian industries. Large Indian firms have greater market power than their small- and medium-scale counterparts, which face entry and mobility obstacles, due to the existence of high market transaction costs. The presence of capital market imperfections also results to variation in organizational behavior between large and small Indian companies.
