Sweetness and Night between Washington and Moscow
Article Abstract:
United States President Ronald Reagan's January 16, 1984 speech on Soviet-American relations is reviewed. He emphasized a reduction of force in solving conflict, a reduction of nuclear arsenals, and the establishment of a better working relationship. Even though it may be aimed in election-year politics, it is a welcome approach to international problems.
