The Czech labour market in transition: evidence from a micro study
Article Abstract:
Three panel surveys were conducted in 1993 to determine the state of the labor market of the Czech Republic. Unemployed workers were interviewed and asked questions about their wages in their former jobs, their reservation wages, their wages in their new jobs and the minimum acceptable wage in another job for participants who became employed during the panel study. Result of the survey showed that unemployment level of Czech republic has barely increased as compared to other countries in eastern and central Europe.

Inidrect re-employment wage discrimination
Article Abstract:
The author recommends that hiring proccesses be more transparent and monitored because a form of wage discrimination is found in the case of reemployment.
