The derived demand for faculty research
Article Abstract:
Analysis of demand for higher education is confounded by two practices of the supplier institutions in the market, namely universities engage in non-price rationing, and the price discriminate. A method is suggested for dealing with the two practices in the analysis of cross-sectional data.
