The frequency and size of price adjustment: microeconomic evidence
Article Abstract:
The durability of price quotations and the size of price changes is examined by analyzing data of consumer prices in Hungary during the 1993 to 1996 time frame. The results show that price adjustment patterns in the data are consistent with implications of two-sided (S,s) pricing models.

The mechanics of price adjustment: new evidence on the (Un)importance of menu costs
Article Abstract:
Evidence to show that nominal price rigidities endure in the e-commerce environment is presented. Rigidity in the e-commerce environment implies that other kinds of costs besides menu costs must be causing the nominal rigidities.

Are they always offering the lowest price? An empirical analysis of the persistence of price dispersion in a low inflation environment
Article Abstract:
Data from 131 retail stores in Germany in 2000 is used to study the nature of price distribution and the intra-distribution dynamics. The data reveals that store heterogeneity accounts for around 30% of price dispersion.
