Worker turnover is examined for Britain, Poland and Russia, and found to be highest in Russia, followed by Britain and then Poland.

The incidence and cost of job loss in a transition economy: displaced workers in Estonia, 1989 to 1999
Article Abstract:
A study on job losses and worker displacement in Estonia, a country whose economy is in transition from a socialistic to a capitalistic system, is presented. The study is based on data from 1989 to 1999. It is observed that displacement was higher in less-skilled and short-term jobs. The income loss associated with job loss is also discussed.

Grime and punishment: job insecurity and wage arrears in the Russian Federation
Article Abstract:
Over half the Russian work force has faced pay disruption during the transition process, and this is a particular problem in Russian provinces. Workers are constrained in their ability to leave such jobs due to the outside labor market.
