Article Abstract:
Partnership is a tool used for risk and uncertainty reduction by collaborating with competitors and suppliers and buyers when the research is far apart from their in-house R&D and when the expected outcome is not easily appropriable. The performance of non-equity research partnership from the point of view of individual business partners, are critically examined.
