The relationship between two dual methods of comparative statics
Article Abstract:
Studies indicate a formal relationship between Silberberg's primal-dual and Hatta's gain methods of deriving comparative statics for optimization problems. Silberberg's method exhibited a more general application to optimization than Hatta's method. The primal-dual method also has the ability to generate all comparative statics results derivable through the gain method, although the reverse is not applicable.

Vintage capital and the dynamics of the AK model
Article Abstract:
The equilibrium dynamics of an AK-type endogenous model with vintage capital is analyzed. Further to characterize the optimal solutions of the model the study developed analytical and numerical methods that should be interest for the general resolution of endogenous growth models with vintage capital.
