Strategic trade policies with endogenous mode of competition
Article Abstract:
Governments may conduct trade interventions in the international market despite lack of information on worldwide oligopoly. The absence of data on market trends may not be necessary in increasing the income of the home country due to the existence of single-rate policies such as the grant of company subsidies. This implies that informational restrictions do not deny the economic rewards due to a country engaged in exportation.
