The transmission mechanism of monetary policy: Evidence from the Caribbean
Article Abstract:
The monetary transmission mechanism, from financial sector to real sector in four Caribbean countries, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados and Guyana, is analyzed. The analysis suggests that the monetary policies of developing countries are affected by the credit and exchange rates than the money channel.
