Witchcraft, weather and economic growth in renaissance Europe
Article Abstract:
A casual explanation of the fact why witchcraft trials in renaissance Europe was practiced on a large-scale violence and scapegoating prompted by deterioration in economic conditions. Details of data collected for trails and weather showing systematic evidence of a relation between witch trials, weather and economic growth, where within the renaissance cultural framework witches became targets for blame are detailed.

Gender in classical economics
Article Abstract:
A retrospective study into the insights on the economic and social status of women by different classical economists is presented. It was seen that even though these writing strongly upheld women's legal and economic rights, neglecting their economic role in society the economic status of women did advance with some key steps facilitated by arguments of Adam smith and others.

Competition in Japan
Article Abstract:
A study of the nature and types of competition in Japan and a measure of the degree of competition confirms a positive relationship between competition and prosperity in Japan. It is suggested that a more flexible economy where competition is truly open will increase productivity and create new business opportunities for Japan's ailing economy.
