Crime and child-rearing: what can public policy do?
Article Abstract:
The rise of violent crime among teenagers along with the stabilization of overall crime rates have been attributed to poor child-rearing. However, instead of trying to reform the character of children who are prone to criminal ways, a rethinking of the juvenile justice system would be better.
