Italy's dons 'are sadists'
Article Abstract:
Students in Italy tend to drop out of university because of delusions of omnipotence, sadism, depression and narcissism among their professors, according to claims made by Giancarlo Nivoli, dean of the psychiatry clinic of the University of Sassari, Sardinia, in his new book "Sopravvivere all' Universita". Nivoli set out to write the book in an attempt to discover why 60% of Italian students fail to complete their studies. Nivoli also claims that the academics are often "not very intelligent".
