QAA set to float new ranking hierarchy
Article Abstract:
Preliminary indications show that the Quality Assurance Agency will revamp the way it ranks universities. Under the new plan, inspectors would be able to rank a university on several qualities, acknowledging both strengths and weaknesses. For example, an inspection report may indicate "broad confidence" in one area of the university's offerings, "little confidence" in another area, and "no confidence" in another.

OU acts on quality concerns
Article Abstract:
The standard of degrees awarded by the Open University's (OU) 47 partner institutions around the world is to be called into question by a report by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA).
