Realistic expectations
Article Abstract:
Virtual reality creations involve a great deal of time and effort, though they may also be very effective. Simulation of physical processes uses the limits of this technology where real time is involved. Training simulators are an example of such a usage. A large amount of processing power is needed to simulate behavior, for example in keyhole surgery. Such problems cannot easily be solved in the short term by virtual reality, despite advances made in this field.
