Rock idol with the power to bewitch
Article Abstract:
The Rosetta Stone, with its three scripts, hieroglyphs, demotic and Ancient Greek, was presented to British museum in 1802. It is the most visited, most photographed item in the museum. Though its scripts were deciphered by late 1820s, it still holds fascination for scholars and public because it is a communication from the ancient world.
