The Hinky Pinky Game
Article Abstract:
Hinky Pinky is an educational game for nine-year-olds to adults. A pair of rhyming words must be guessed from knowing the number of syllables and a clue to its meaning. Other hints can be given. There are 180 problems at three difficulty levels. A 6400-word rhyming dictionary with programs on the disk's reverse side allows students and teachers to create their own problems. The game can be played off the computer with the Hinky Pinky Handbook, but the computer version allows teachers to develop vocabulary according to specific topics and individual needs. This challenging game costs $30, and runs on the Apple IIc, and IIe.
