The need for a military draft: Protecting superpower status
Article Abstract:
The war in Iraq has shown the US and the world the bloody costs of inept leadership, the courage of the average American soldier, the hunger for democracy among some of the most oppressed people, but more than anything it has shown that the US military power has limits. America must develop a military with sufficient numbers of high-quality deployable ground forces, the 21st century conscription if it wishes to retain its mantle of global leadership.

Democratic globalism: A critique
Article Abstract:
The dominant international theory characterizing the Bush administration is analyzed. It is believed that the theory referred to as 'democratic globalism' covers a number of ambiguities that makes it less helpful as a guideline for American interference.

The US Congress must be reformed. Vague legislations and preoccupation on non-legislative activities have been a grave disservice to the American people. Only through introducing reforms can Congress regain its credibility.
