'Vice-chancellorial posturing about maintaining their brand is a crime against underqualified students afraid of wasting tuition fees'
Article Abstract:
The higher education system in the United Kingdom is examined in the light of the contention that the current higher education bill will not be effective and the government needs to come up with a more realistic plan. It is suggested that a realistic higher education plan would have funding that adapted to the realities of the UK's three-tier education system and would not simply focus on getting more and more people into three-year degree courses.
