Why low body count is fatal for anatomy
Article Abstract:
Issues relating to the teaching of anatomy in medical schools are examined. Some academics argue that with the level of new technology that is available, anatomy can be taught using techniques such as medical imaging and by practicing on living patients, however some surgeons and medical academics believe that dissecting an human body is one of the best ways to find out how it works and that anatomy cannot be taught adequately without using cadavers.

Article Abstract:
For manual workers, such as cleaners, at universities in the UK the Christmas period is not much fun as they have extra work to do, such as cleaning up after office parties. Universities are currently in the middle of dealing with issues such as workload, pay and conditions for all their employees as they work towards implementing a pay agreement that was agreed in 2004 by the universities and employees' unions.
