CES Sneak Preview: Audio
Article Abstract:
At the 1984 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) the audio industry is expected to introduce its most varied and sophisticated products to date. Audio products for use in conjunction with video mediums will be the most notable. The Federal Communications Commission recently adopted the Zenith-dbx system as the stereo television standard. Even though consumer acceptance of audio-video separates is still unproven, most suppliers are preparing to introduce products along these lines. Most audio suppliers will be introducing compact disc products at the CES.
