Onkyo lures audiophiles with sound quality of latest MD decks

Onkyo Corp of Japan is introducing two new MiniDisc audio equipment in the dosmetic market and in Europe in 1999. The MD-2321 features a 20-bit analog-digital and digital-analog (D/A) conversion system. The MD-2521 features the latest 24-bit D/A converter. Both models are equipped with the latest versio of the Adaptive Transform Acoustic Coding circuitry and can record digital signals directly from various digital sources.

DX-TL1500 video recorder
Article Abstract:
Mitsubishi Electric Corp has introduced the DX-TL1500 video recorder which uses a hard disc drive as storage media. The product also has a built-in motion detector function. Without external sensors, the recorder starts an alarm recording when it detects a change in motions in camera images. A 16-channel multiplexing function enables display of one, four, nine or 16 views, as well as a variety of sequential displays.
