Digital Cinema, crystal on silicon shape views of future at SID
Article Abstract:
The Society for Information Display symposium highlighted digital systems, dense integration and innovations in display materials and construction such as organic electroluminescent displays and liquid crystal on silicon. Most notable were the full-color organic electroluminescent displays that several makers have developed for mobile electronics and plasma display panels with enhanced definition. Other exhibits included field emission displays, large-screen liquid crystal displays and liquid crystal on silicon microdisplays.
