Super-small piezoelectric inverters
Article Abstract:
Hitachi Metals Ltd has unveiled a piezoelectric inverter that incorporates the company's center-drive, laminated transformer to produce a rated output of 5W. The super-small inverter, one of the smallest and lightest at 6.7g, also incorporates a dedicated IC controller that contains a pulse width modulation dimming circuit. Hitachi's piezoelectric inverter also uses sine output waveforms to eliminate unnecessary noise from radiation.
